About the role

Rippling’s HR Products org is building the foundation that helps companies hire and manage talent globally. This SDE-2 role sits in the team owning Global Contractors, Compliance, and Work Authorization—a highly strategic product area that powers Rippling’s Global Expansion efforts. You’ll work on customer-facing workflows where correctness, scalability, and speed of iteration all matter, and you’ll have strong visibility because your work directly impacts revenue and customer outcomes.

As an SDE-2, you’ll own and ship end-to-end features—from shaping requirements and technical approach to building backend, launching safely, and continuously improving based on real customer feedback. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Sales, and Customer-facing teams to prioritize what moves the needle, and you’ll develop a deep understanding of our customers, their pain points, and the competitive landscape.

What You'll Do

• Develop high-quality software with meticulous attention to detail.
• Continuously ship incremental updates at a rapid pace.
• Collaborate with the sales teams to prioritize enhancements that drive revenue growth.
• Interact with customers, providing support to ensure their success with Rippling.
• Become the go-to expert on Rippling's customers and competition.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a production environment - Our stack is Python, Django, React, MongoDB, and AWS - this is nice to have but not necessary to join
• You care about product ownership and solving problems for our customers
• You’re passionate about being in a product-focused environment where everyone cares deeply about customer impact
