Software Engineer Internship for AI Students

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and curious AI Intern to join our remote team for a four-month internship. This opportunity is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience working on real-world AI and machine learning projects. You’ll gain valuable exposure to data-driven problem solving, AI research, and model development — all in a fully remote, flexible work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the AI and data science teams to design, train, and evaluate machine learning models.
• Work with large datasets: data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing.
• Explore and implement algorithms for NLP, computer vision, or predictive analytics (depending on project).
• Contribute to experimental and research efforts, helping test and document model performance.
• Support integration of AI models into applications or tools.
• Summarise findings and communicate technical insights clearly to team members.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Understanding of basic data preprocessing, model evaluation, and visualization techniques.
• Familiarity with Git, SQL, and Jupyter Notebooks.
• Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to natural language processing, generative AI, or computer vision.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or MLOps tools.
• Previous academic or personal AI/ML projects (GitHub links are a plus).
