Software Engineer - Java

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our development team. As a key member, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and reliable applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, front-end developers, and DevOps engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The responsibilities we entrust you

1. Develop, test, and maintain scalable and robust Java-based applications, write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
3. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance. Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality.
4. Integrate applications with databases, external APIs, and cloud services.
5. Ensure security, performance, and maintainability of applications.
6. Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment and contribute to sprint planning

What matters in this role:

Experience & Portfolio:

1. 1-3 years of experience in Java development.
2. Good knowledge of sector technology and processes
3. Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously

Technical skills & efficiency:

1. Strong Java, Springboot, Microservices, System architecture, System Design, DSA, SQL, LLD
2. SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks like Hibernate.
3. Messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ (good to have).
4. NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis.
5. CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes (good to have).
6. Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Communication & Ownership:

1. Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
2. Able to work both independently and as part of a team
