Software Engineer (MEAN/MERN)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with hands-on experience in the MEAN/MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular/React, Node.js) along with exposure to Next.js and Nest.js. You will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, building APIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop full-stack applications using MEAN or MERN stack.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services using Express.js or Nest.js.

• Develop responsive front-end applications using Angular, React, or Next.js.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.

• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance of applications.

• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and suggest improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in full-stack development using MEAN/MERN stack.

• Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, Angular/React, Node.js.

• Hands-on experience with Next.js (for SSR) and Nest.js (for scalable backend development).

• Good understanding of RESTful API design and integration.

• Familiarity with Git, version control, and Agile methodologies.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with TypeScript.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Experience with automated testing tools (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
