Job Function

The Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain modern software systems and web applications using contemporary frameworks, cloud platforms, and integration tools. This role supports business growth by developing scalable solutions, ensuring system reliability, and managing the full application lifecycle from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using frameworks such as Django
• Build and integrate cloud-based solutions using AWS and/or Azure
• Support integrations with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce
• Follow SDLC best practices across design, development, testing, and deployment
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Implement and maintain source control practices using GitHub (branching, PRs, code reviews)
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure scalability and availability
• Write unit, integration, and automated tests to maintain software quality
• Work closely with QA, DevOps, and IT teams for smooth deployments
• Maintain technical documentation for systems, processes, and coding standards
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and backlog refinement
• Continuously improve application performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Perform additional duties as required based on business needs

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Django or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Azure
• Experience with GitHub or similar version control systems
• Understanding of SDLC, testing practices, and CI/CD workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience integrating applications with Salesforce or similar platforms
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of application security best practices
• Experience in financial services, lending, or regulated industries
