Software Engineer (Node js & Python & PHP)

As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical part in the design, development, and optimization of scalable software solutions. Working under the technical direction and architectural guidance of the architect, you will translate architectural specifications into high-quality, maintainable code and robust system components. This role demands practical engineering expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-performance backend and API-driven modules. You will collaborate with your peers across development, QA, and DevOps to ensure timely and secure delivery of features in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

• Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js, PHP (Laravel), and Python as per architectural specifications.
• Translate software architecture and technical requirements into efficient, secure, and scalable solutions.
• Build and optimize MySQL and Elasticsearch data models, queries, and migrations in accordance with data architecture guidelines.
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal business systems for seamless interoperability.
• Implement distributed caching strategies (Redis/Memcached), background jobs, and automation scripts for performance and reliability.
• Apply monitoring, logging, and alerting standards to all deliverables, enabling proactive maintenance and system visibility.
• Ensure all code meets internal security, compliance, and quality standards as defined by technical leads and architects.
• Write clear technical documentation for developed modules, APIs, and processes.
• Participate in peer code reviews, testing, and debugging, contributing to an open feedback culture.
• Continuously upgrade technical skills and stay informed about new tools, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Required Skills & Experience
• 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend development (Node.js, PHP/Laravel, Python).
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and scalable software patterns.
• Proficient in MySQL and Elasticsearch (schema design, performance tuning, complex queries).
• Demonstrated experience in integrating business systems and third-party APIs.
• Experience with distributed caching, background job processing, and cloud-native deployment (Linux/Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical documentation skills.
• Proven ability to deliver production-grade software under tight deadlines in an Agile environment.
