Software Engineer – Online Gaming App & Platform Development

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a scalable online gaming application and digital platform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building high-performance mobile and web applications, integrating real-time gaming features, ensuring platform security, and delivering a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy online gaming applications (mobile and/or web-based)
• Build scalable backend systems to support real-time gameplay, user management, and transactions
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services (payment gateways, analytics, authentication, etc.)
• Optimize application performance, stability, and security
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement engaging and intuitive game interfaces
• Implement multiplayer functionality, leaderboards, rewards, and in-game features
• Conduct testing, debugging, and ongoing maintenance of the platform
• Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and gaming regulations
• Stay updated with the latest gaming technologies and industry trends

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in mobile app and/or web development
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, Swift, or Kotlin
• Experience with game development frameworks or engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal, Phaser, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Django, Firebase, or similar)
• Understanding of real-time systems, APIs, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in online gaming, multiplayer systems, or betting/gaming platforms
• Knowledge of in-app purchases, virtual currencies, and payment integrations
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and app store deployment
• Experience with scalability, load balancing, and performance optimization
