Application Engineer
- Prepare drawings for use by Production to manufacture modified equipment.
- Prepare modified BOMs for entry into the Production System.
- Work closely with other departments (including, but not limited to: Production, Production Control, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Project Quotations, Manufacturing Engineering) to resolve issues related to Application Engineering.
- Provide technical support to other departments as needed.
- Input BOM changes into the Magnetrol Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
- Prepare drawings for approval by the client.
- BS in Engineering or equivalent.
- Ability to read specifications and data sheets to determine correct methodology to best meet customer needs.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Understanding of piping industry, rules, and regulations.
- Read and interpret Technical Specifications
- Advanced PC skills.
- Experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
- Ability to grasp interaction between complex mechanical systems (Mechanical Aptitude).
