Payrate: $70.00 - $75.00/hr.

Summary:
Fundamental AI Research team is looking to bring on two skilled Software Engineers . The main function of a software engineer is to apply the principles of computer science and mathematical analysis to the design, development, testing, and evaluation of the software and systems that make computers work. An ideal candidate is someone with a bachelor's degree in computer science from an accredited institution

Job Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain software components, following our software engineering processes to design, develop, document, review, test, inspect, and release code.
AI background is must have
Implement the frontend (in React) and backend (in PHP or Python) of new features.
Execute and complete tasks with minimal supervision applying your judgment and problem-solving skills.
Attend project meetings and work as part of a project team to coordinate software development and determine project scope and limitations.
Modify existing databases and database management systems.
Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations.
Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
Basic ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issues.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant field required.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $70.00 - $75.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
