Software Engineering Manager
Key Accountabilities
- Oversee the full development process, from initial design through deployment and maintenance
- Architect and implement scalable, secure, and reliable AI/ML powered software solutions that can handle increasing load and complexity
- Promote coding standards, CI/CD workflows, and other software development best practices to deliver high-quality, maintainable code
- Work closely with product managers, data scientists/AI Engineering, and other stakeholders to clarify requirements, set priorities, and align on deliverables
- Define and maintain the engineering roadmap, balancing new feature development with technical debt and platform improvements
- Establish and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation while driving best practices in engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in software development and engineering complex applications
- Experience developing and deploying AI/ML powered solutions
- Strong proficiency in Python and at least one other language (e.g., Golang, Rust, Java, etc.) and related frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Deep understanding of modern software engineering practices (e.g., DevOps, CI/CD, microservices)
- Hands-on experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, data warehouses, and related tools (Spark, Airflow, etc.)
- Educational qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
