Software Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Project Manager to lead and oversee software development projects from initiation to delivery. The role involves managing timelines, resources, budgets, and communication across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution that meets business and technical objectives.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
  

• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  

• Coordinate with software developers, QA engineers, designers, and business analysts to ensure alignment.
  

• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  

• Communicate project status, updates, and escalations to stakeholders and senior management.
  

• Ensure compliance with quality standards, security policies, and best practices.
  

• Manage change requests and adapt project plans to evolving requirements.
  

• Foster collaboration, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth communication across teams.
  

• Drive continuous improvement by analyzing completed projects for lessons learned.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
  
  
• Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager in software development or IT.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  
  
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, MS Project, Asana).
  
  
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  
  
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  
  
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  
  
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are a plus.
