Software QA Engineer

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, you will work directly with our software development team to help ensure the quality of our software. You will be tasked with feature-testing software as we deploy new features and improvements to our software. You will also be responsible for maintaining a suite of regression tests that can be run periodically to ensure the overall stability of our system. You will also be working in an agile environment where communication and teamwork is a key to success while working directly with teammates to catch any unexpected results that may exist. You will also work with our QA team to develop and maintain test plans, smoke test after deployments, test API endpoints, work with basic SQL in a database environment, and help run test automation.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related area (B. CS/IT )

1. Work experience in software development

2. Ability to troubleshoot features on a technical level

3. Must have a working knowledge of current quality assurance methodologies

4. Ability to be adaptable to current needs

5. Proven experience with the Software Development Lifecycle ( SDLC )
