Software Quality Assurance - Automation Engineer

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and API testing
• Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve software issues
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation
• Participate in test planning, reviews, and documentation
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing as required
• Contribute to the maintenance of test data, environments, and automation infrastructure
• Ensure timely and detailed reporting of test outcomes and quality metrics
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent field
• 1 year of hands-on experience in automation testing (web, API, or mobile)
• Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle
• Experience with Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress for automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and basic SQL for data validation
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
