Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Position:

We are currently on the lookout for an Enthusiastic and Operationally Strong Individual for the role of experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer at our office based in Lahore. The incumbent should have the below-mentioned skillset, expertise and experience in the field.

Education/Qualification:
Graduation in Marketing, IT or any relevant field.

Experience:
2-3 years of software quality testing

Timings:
11am to 8 pm standard office timings

Responsibilities, Duties and Skills required:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, analyze, and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Document and report bugs with clear, reproducible examples and track them to closure.
• Participate in product requirement reviews, functional specification reviews, and design discussions to ensure test coverage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process enhancements and quality initiatives.
• Maintain test documentation, including test strategies, test results, and defect logs.
• Solid understanding of Software QA methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools and bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Working knowledge of automated testing tools and scripting is a plus.
• Ability to create clear and detailed documentation.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Comfortable approaching a product from the end-user perspective to identify gaps in functionality.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
