Software Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and ownership-driven Software QA Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our internal software products. This role will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, maintaining product documentation, and collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to ship high-quality releases.
You will play a key role in building structured QA processes from the ground up and continuously improving testing standards across products.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
Perform regression testing, end-to-end (E2E) testing, and functional testing
Conduct manual testing across web and/or mobile applications
Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
Create and manage bug tickets and tasks in project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Linear, etc.)
Maintain and update product documentation
Validate new feature releases and perform release verification testing

• Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar
• Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and verify fixes
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospective meetings
• Improve and formalize QA processes and workflows

Nice to Have (Automation is a Huge Plus)

• Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Ability to design and maintain automated test suites
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Basic scripting knowledge (JavaScript, Python, or similar)
• Performance testing experience (JMeter or similar tools)
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)

Required Qualifications

• 6month+ of experience in Software QA / Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Experience in writing structured test cases and test scenarios
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
• Ability to independently manage QA cycles
• Strong communication and reporting skills
