Position

The SQA Analyst plays an essential role in ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of CAST’s products. This role blends hands on software testing with real world operational support. The SQA Analyst executes test plans, validates new features, and identifies defects before release by recreating real world use cases. They work closely with Customer Success and Product Development to verify fixes, document issues clearly, and provide actionable insights that improve product behavior.

The role supports customers and internal teams by troubleshooting scenarios commonly encountered in the field including inconsistent tracking data, visualization performance issues, patching mistakes, networking misconfiguration, or hardware communication challenges. Through clear communication, structured testing, and accurate problem diagnosis, the SQA Analyst contributes directly to product reliability and customer confidence.

The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Karachi/Lahore/Islamabad office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Job Description

  • Demonstrates strong customer focus by understanding real world user workflows and incorporating customer perspectives into testing, issue analysis, and product quality improvements.
  • Applies functional and technical skills by configuring CAST products in controlled and production like test environments, validating performance across complex lighting, tracking, and visualization scenarios.
  • Shows learning agility by staying current on CAST product updates, industry technologies, and evolving production workflows to strengthen test coverage and product insight.
  • Uses strong problem solving and process management skills to identify defects, replicate field scenarios, diagnose root causes, and provide clear, actionable findings to Product Development.
  • Demonstrates a strong drive for results by executing manual and automated QA tests, documenting issues thoroughly, validating fixes, and ensuring releases meet CAST’s quality standards.
  • Communicates effectively by contributing to test plans, release notes, internal QA documentation, and technical guides that improve clarity and consistency across teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Operations to share testing insights, align on requirements, and support continuous product improvement.
  • Shows composure and adaptability when working with shifting priorities, tight release schedules, evolving features, and unexpected findings during regression or integration testing.

Job Qualifications

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, and/or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in QA, software support, technical production, or theatrical/film/TV environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of CAST products or similar entertainment-technology systems.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, network infrastructure, industry protocols, servers, consoles, and production workflows.
  • Experience with manual/automated QA testing, defect tracking, and quality documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
