Job Overview

As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining both manual and automated testing processes throughout the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with developers, project managers, designers, and stakeholders to identify issues early, improve product quality, and ensure seamless user experiences across web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Develop reusable and scalable automation test suites that support continuous testing and integration within CI/CD pipelines.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
Design and implement automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using issue-tracking tools.
Collaborate with development teams to reproduce, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and product reviews.
Conduct API testing and validate backend services.
Verify software functionality, performance, usability, and security requirements.
Monitor software releases and perform post-deployment validation testing.
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and best practices.
Generate test reports and communicate quality metrics to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies.
Knowledge of test case design, defect management, and quality assurance principles.
Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and REST APIs.
Familiarity with version control systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Prior experience with project management tools
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration.
Familiarity with cloud platforms.
Understanding of database testing and SQL queries.
ISTQB or relevant QA certification is a plus.
