Software Quality Assurance Intern

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Software Quality Engineering team in Santa Barbara, California (ACT) is responsible for supporting all Software Engineering development from ACT. We are searching for an Intern pursuing a Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree to support the Software Quality Engineering team at ACT. The successful candidate will prepare, execute, and document test cases and automate test cases with guidance from the software quality engineering staff. The individual will perform various testing methods and will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of these test methods. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.

This internship will run from June 2026 – September 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 30-40 hours per week at our Santa Barbara, CA facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create automated test cases.
• Run manual testing.
• Write test cases.
• Build onto the current automation framework.
• Embedded software projects.

Education and Experience:

• Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

• PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
