Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Location: Bahria Town, Lahore

Timing: 2pm-11pm

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to ensure the quality, stability, and reliability of our web applications, SaaS platforms, APIs, dashboards, and AI-driven systems. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and operations teams to establish and maintain strong quality standards across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases
• Prepare and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and QA documentation
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
• Collaborate with developers for early-stage quality validation
• Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, and reviews
• Ensure quality standards across UI, APIs, performance, and security
• Validate deployments on development, staging, and production environments
• Support CI/CD pipelines through automated testing where applicable

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in Software Quality Assurance
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies
• Hands-on experience with manual testing (web applications and APIs)
• Basic knowledge of automation tools/frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Postman, etc.)
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (Jira, Trello, ClickUp, etc.)
• Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Good communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
