Job Description
We are seeking French-speaking Software Service Engineers (Tier 1 & Tier 2) to join a leading global technology company in Doha. This role is ideal for candidates with strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience in application support, and solid database knowledge. You will be responsible for handling support requests, resolving technical issues, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software application issues and incidents
  • Manage and track support requests using ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Maximo, Remedy, etc.)
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support and ensure timely ticket resolution
  • Perform user administration tasks, including password resets and access management
  • Monitor systems and ensure optimal application performance
  • Work with databases (SQL) to investigate and resolve application-related issues
  • Analyze logs and identify root causes of technical problems
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions, and processes
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs and support standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • Fluent in French and English (French is mandatory)
  • Proven experience in technical troubleshooting and application support
  • Hands-on experience with ticketing systems and incident management tools
  • Strong database knowledge (SQL) is required
  • Familiarity with database troubleshooting and query analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes is an advantage
