Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Solutions Architect to join our growing team. This role requires a combination of strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills. As a Solutions Architect, you will design and oversee system architectures, create detailed technical solutions, and collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing software solutions that align with our product vision and long-term technology strategy. This is a hands-on role that involves active participation in software architecture, backend development, API design, and the full software development lifecycle.

Key ResponsibilitiesSolution Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Define and drive architectural standards, strategies, and best practices across projects.
• Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements aligned with business objectives.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Support, Managed Services, and Business teams.
• Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications and solution designs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to stakeholders and leadership.

Software Development & Delivery

• Participate in and oversee all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Guide backend development, API architecture, and system integrations.
• Support successful product deployments, releases, and customer onboarding activities.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, reliability, and security standards.

Project Governance & Risk Management

• Monitor project progress, identify technical risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure governance, pricing, documentation, and training milestones are achieved on schedule.
• Balance technical priorities with business objectives to maximize efficiency and value delivery.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Recommend enhancements to software platforms, architecture, and development processes.
• Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster collaboration across distributed teams operating in different regions and time zones.

Required QualificationsExperience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Architecture, Solution Architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
• At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience using modern programming languages.
• Proven experience working within Agile development environments.
• Familiarity with project governance, risk management, and reporting practices.

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of software architecture principles and enterprise application design.
• Solid knowledge of computing infrastructure, storage systems, operating systems, and networking concepts.
• Experience designing and managing DevOps pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Proficiency in:

• Strong background in IT automation and system orchestration.
• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or Puppet is highly desirable.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
