Software Tester

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated Software Tester to join our team. As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products by conducting various testing activities, identifying bugs, and ensuring that all products meet the required specifications and user expectations. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the software meets high-quality standards before it is released.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
  
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  
• Identify, record, and track bugs using issue-tracking systems.
  
• Work with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate fixes.
  
• Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand software requirements and functionality.
  
• Participate in test case reviews and ensure that all test scenarios are covered.
  
• Automate repetitive tests where possible to increase testing efficiency.
  
• Provide regular status updates and detailed reports on testing progress and issues.
  
• Ensure that the software meets quality standards and user expectations before release.
  
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 6 months to 2 years of experience as a Software Tester
  
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  
• Experience with manual testing and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.).
  
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or others).
  
• Basic knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) is a plus.
  
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
