Software Tester Intern

We are looking for a highly observant and curious Software Tester Intern to join our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will help ensure that our software products are bug-free, reliable, and user-friendly. You will work closely with developers and product managers to execute test cases, report defects, and learn the ins and outs of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:

• Test Case Development & Execution:
• Assist in creating and executing manual test cases based on requirements.
• Learn to identify and document software defects.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting:
• Log and track issues using tools like JIRA, Trello
• Collaborate with developers to verify fixes.
• Functional & Regression Testing:
• Perform basic functional, UI, and regression testing.
• Help ensure software meets design specifications.
• Introduction to Test Automation
• Gain exposure to automation tools like Selenium, Postman
• Assist in maintaining automated test scripts.
• Documentation & Learning:
• Document test results and assist in generating test reports.
• Learn Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual testing preferred).
• Familiarity with SDLC and bug-tracking tools
• Exposure to SQL, APIs, or test automation
