What you’ll do

  • Engage with potential customers through outside sales efforts, including door-to-door outreach, to educate them about solar energy benefits.
  • Utilize your marketing skills to create compelling presentations that resonate with diverse audiences.
  • Leverage CRM software and Salesforce to manage leads, track sales progress, and maintain customer relationships effectively.
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to close sales and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the process.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to share insights and strategies that enhance overall performance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, technical specifications, and product offerings to provide accurate information to clients.
  • Lead initiatives that promote solar energy adoption within your community while fostering a culture of sustainability.

Basic qualifications

  • Proven experience in outside sales or technical sales, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful sales closures.
  • Excellent customer service abilities, ensuring a positive experience for every client.

Preferred qualifications

  • Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is highly desirable for effective communication with diverse clientele.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and Salesforce for managing customer interactions efficiently.

If you read this far, I’m gonna give you an inside on what I’m looking for. I would love to get people that have some solar experience or doorknocking experience. However, not a lot of people have done that in their life. So if you’re the type of person that can create structure in your life, you will be successful in this position. If you allow yourself to be managed and come to training, you will be successful in this position. Virginia has the most data centers in the entire US so electricity rates are going to skyrocket. We do a 50% split commission between the Setter and the Closer so everybody makes the same amount of money. We just opened up an office in Chantilly and I’m looking to bring on five reps within the next two weeks. I’ve been in Solar for five years. I love this industry, and I know that there is a profitable future in Virginia. I need you guys to work 4 to 5 hours a day five days a week and you can easily make over 100 to 120,000 a year.
