Solar Engineer

Position Summary:

• We are looking for a skilled, motivated and highly experienced Solar Engineer with 5+ years' experience to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining solar systems while ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, equipment, and components.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and cost estimations.
• Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and other engineering teams on projects.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical systems.
• Monitor energy consumption and suggest optimisation solutions.
• Review and approve electrical designs submitted by contractors/vendors.
• Prepare technical reports, project progress reports, and documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a well-reputed and recognised university.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer in Solar EPC Company. (4–5 years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical design software (AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar).
• Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, panels, transformers, and distribution networks.
• Familiarity with international electrical standards and safety codes.
• Good understanding of PLCs, automation, and control systems (preferred).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, project management, and teamwork skills.
