Solar PV Installer

Green Energy Planet Ltd is a growing renewable energy company specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Chargers, and Air Source Heat Pumps for domestic and commercial properties across the UK.

We are looking for experienced and reliable Solar PV Installers to join our expanding team.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing Solar PV systems on roofs and be confident working at heights, handling roof work, and installing electrical cables safely and professionally.

Roofing experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Install Solar PV panels on pitched and flat roofs

Install mounting systems and roof fixings

Run and secure DC and AC electrical cables

Assist with inverter and battery installations

Work safely at heights and follow health & safety procedures

Ensure installations are completed to high standards

Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Assist with loading/unloading materials and site preparation

Requirements

Experience installing Solar PV systems OR roofing experience

Experience running electrical cables

Comfortable working on roofs and scaffolding

Good understanding of health & safety

Full UK driving licence preferred

CSCS card preferred

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Skills

Solar PV installation experience

Roofing experience

Basic electrical knowledge

Experience with battery storage systems

ECS/CSCS certification

IPAF or PASMA certification
