Solar Technician

Solar Technician / Associate Engineer

Education: DAE (Electrical or Power)

What You Will Do (Main Tasks)

  • Installation: Fix solar panels, inverters, and batteries according to the drawing.
  • Wiring: Connect DC wires from panels to the inverter and AC wires to the main DB (Distribution Board).
  • Testing: Use a Multimeter or Clamp Meter to check if the voltage and current are correct.
  • Lab Work: Help test new solar panels and equipment to see if they are working properly.
  • Repairing: Find and fix faults (fault finding) in the solar system if it stops producing electricity.
  • Maintenance: Clean panels and tighten electrical connections to keep the system running.

What You Need to Know

  • Solar Basics: How to connect panels in Series and Parallel.
  • Safety: How to work safely with high-voltage electricity (using gloves, insulated tools, etc.).
  • Components: Good knowledge of Breakers (MCB/MCCB), SPDs, and Earthing/Grounding.
  • Tools: How to use a crimping tool, drill machine, and testing meters.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs37,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
