Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills, a strong understanding of solar components, and the ability to work safely on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and performance checks
- Diagnose and repair faults in solar systems
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
- Maintain work reports and service documentation
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients when required
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in solar installation or electrical work (preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and solar PV technology
- Ability to work at heights and outdoor job sites
- Understanding of safety procedures and PPE usage
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with on-grid and off-grid systems
- Knowledge of batteries (lithium / lead-acid)
- Ability to use testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.)
