Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical skills, a strong understanding of solar components, and the ability to work safely on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar PV panels, inverters, batteries, and related equipment
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and performance checks
• Diagnose and repair faults in solar systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and site regulations
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Maintain work reports and service documentation
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and clients when required

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in solar installation or electrical work (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and solar PV technology
• Ability to work at heights and outdoor job sites
• Understanding of safety procedures and PPE usage
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with on-grid and off-grid systems
• Knowledge of batteries (lithium / lead-acid)
• Ability to use testing tools (multimeter, clamp meter, etc.)
