SolidWorks Designer

We are looking for an experienced Solidworks Designer and Drafter for the Heavy Steel Fabrication Industry. You will join a team of experts in the field of Engineering Design for large scale Weldments in the Industrial, Commercial, and Government markets. The job will start off on a contract basis with the potential to turn full time. Solidworks license will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Turn Engineered Design into complete LOD 400 3D model
• Structure models for interchangeability and simplicity
• Create lofted parts for Fabrication
• Component selection using basic engineering principles and guidelines
• Drafting in Soliidworks

Skills

• Proven excellence as a Solidworks Design
• Knowledge of design and drafting for heavy steel fabrication industry
• Understanding the fluidity of Engineering
• Customer Facing and Excellent communication for collaboration with shop requirements
• Creativity and attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• High school diploma required; Associate in Engineering Technology preferred.
• CSWA required; CSWE or CSWP preferred

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $24.00 - $32.00 per hour

Work Location: Remote
