Job Title: Solution Architect – Network & Security

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect – Network & Security to design, develop, and present scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise networking and cybersecurity solutions. This role blends deep technical expertise with strong pre-sales capabilities, supporting large-scale enterprise and government clients.

The ideal candidate will translate business and technical requirements into robust, compliant, and future-ready architectures while working closely with internal teams, OEM partners, and customers.

Key Responsibilities1. Solution Design & Architecture

• Design scalable and secure network architectures across LAN, WAN, data centers, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Develop end-to-end solutions including routing & switching, SDN, firewalls, VPNs, NAC, load balancing, and encryption.
• Ensure solutions align with business goals, performance needs, and regulatory requirements.

2. Pre-Sales & Client Engagement

• Collaborate with sales teams on RFPs, tenders, and technical proposals.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions and technical workshops with clients.
• Prepare and deliver HLD, LLD, BoMs, and solution presentations.
• Work with OEMs to finalize solution designs and configurations.

3. Technical Documentation & Presentation

• Deliver impactful presentations to C-level and technical stakeholders.
• Create detailed documentation including network diagrams and security architecture.
• Contribute to reusable solution frameworks and standardization.

4. Security & Compliance

• Integrate security best practices including segmentation, encryption, VPNs, and access control.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NESA, and other regulatory frameworks.
• Design threat prevention solutions including IDS/IPS and firewall zoning.

5. Tools, Automation & Optimization

• Use automation tools like Python and Ansible for efficient deployments.
• Work with monitoring platforms such as Cisco DNA Center, PRTG, or equivalent.
• Provide guidance on troubleshooting and optimizing network performance.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Mandatory / Preferred Certifications:
• CCIE (Enterprise / Security / Data Center)
• OR equivalent certifications (HCIE, Fortinet NSE, Aruba, F5, VMware NSX)
• ITIL or PMP certification is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in enterprise network and security architecture.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering large-scale network solutions.
• Exposure to structured project delivery and pre-sales environments.

Technical SkillsNetworking

• Strong expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN, ACI, QoS, Multicast
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, STP, ARP, and network fundamentals

Security

• Experience with VPNs (IPsec, GRE, L2TP, MACsec)
• Firewall, NAC (Cisco ISE/Forescout), and segmentation design

Platforms & Tools

• Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus, ACI, DNA Center)
• VMware NSX, SDN technologies
• F5 / Citrix ADC
• Network automation (Python, Ansible)
