The Snowflake Solution Architect will design and define the target architecture for the investment data platform, ensuring scalability, security, governance, and high performance while meeting business and data requirements across both public and private investment domains.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with extensive experience in data architecture and modern cloud data platforms. The role will be responsible for defining the enterprise Snowflake architecture, including environment strategy, warehouse design, database and schema structures, security controls, data-sharing frameworks, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the end-to-end architecture for the Snowflake data platform.
• Design scalable data architectures encompassing ingestion, storage, transformation, security, governance, and consumption.
• Define Snowflake architecture standards, including environments, databases, schemas, warehouses, security roles, and data-sharing models.
• Translate business and investment data requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Design integration patterns for investment, accounting, portfolio, market data, and reporting systems.
• Define historical data migration, reconciliation, audit, and backfill strategies.
• Establish data security, governance, lineage, and compliance controls.
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams throughout implementation.
• Review solution designs, data models, integrations, and performance optimization approaches.

Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in data architecture, cloud data platforms, data warehousing, and analytics solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake architecture, design, and implementation.
• Experience delivering data platforms within investment management, asset management, wealth management, capital markets, or financial services.
• Strong understanding of investment data domains, including portfolios, holdings, transactions, performance, valuations, cash, benchmarks, market and reference data.
• Experience working with both public and private investment data preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, access controls, data lineage, and sensitive financial data management.
