About the Role
We are seeking a technically adept and customer-facing Pre-Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth by delivering compelling product demonstrations, crafting tailored solutions, and building trust with enterprise prospects in the data management space.
You will be the technical bridge between our Data Quality, Data Governance, and Master Data Management (MDM) platform/services and prospective clients—translating complex business challenges into clear, value-driven demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Pre-Sales Demos & POCs: Conduct live and virtual demonstrations of data quality profiling, cleansing, matching, governance workflows, and MDM capabilities.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with sales teams to map customer requirements to product capabilities; design custom demo scenarios and POC frameworks.
- Technical Storytelling: Simplify complex data concepts (e.g., probabilistic matching, lineage tracking, policy enforcement) for both technical (CTOs, Data Architects) and business audiences (CDOs, Business Unit Heads).
- Competitive Positioning: Highlight differentiators vs. other product vendor’s offerings with side-by-side feature comparisons and ROI narratives.
- Customer Workshops: Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover pain points in data quality, governance, and master data silos.
- Content Creation: Build reusable demo datasets, scripts, and slide decks; contribute to RFI/RFP responses.
- Post-Sales Handoff: Ensure seamless transition to implementation teams with detailed solution blueprints.

- Technical Proficiency:

- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) – especially data services (S3, Glue, Databricks, Snowflake)
- SQL
- Product Exposure: Prior work with Informatica DQ/CDQ, Collibra, Ataccama, Semarchy, Reltio, Stibo, or Profisee is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills:
