On behalf of ICT company Huawei Technologies, we are looking for
Vertical Solution Sales Engineer (VSE) – Financial/Oil & Gas/Government Industry
to join Huawei Oman, focusing on the Financial/Oil & Gas/Government sectors. You will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end ICT solutions, supporting the sales team in technical engagements and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:

Understand customer business scenarios in Financial/Oil & Gas/Government sectors; design customized solutions leveraging Huawei and Western OEM products

Collaborate with Account Managers for customer requirement analysis, solution presentations, POC demonstrations, and bid support

Coordinate technical resources internally and externally to ensure solution delivery and project success
-
Track industry trends and policy updates; develop solution white papers and benchmark case studies

Support team capability building and enhance solution selling skills across the sales team
Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in ICT solution sales or technical pre-sales; Oman-based candidates preferred

Strong understanding of local market and business practices

Experience working with channels and vendors (Vendor) in technical roles

Previous experience with Western OEM brands (e.g., Cisco, VMware, Oracle, Microsoft, HPE, etc.) in pre-sales or solution architecture

Proven track record in solution selling within Financial/Oil & Gas/Government sectors

Technical team management experience; previous Tech Lead role is a plus

Excellent presentation and communication skills; fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Familiar with Omani business culture; able to independently manage large-scale technical projects
