Solutions Architect

About our client

A client within the banking industry is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive enterprise-level solution design and support major digital transformation initiatives. This role will work closely with the Chief Information & Technology Officer (CITO) and key internal and external stakeholders to design and oversee scalable, secure, and compliant technology solutions aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for defining end-to-end architecture across systems, applications, and cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with financial governance standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity frameworks. This position operates as an individual contributor with strong collaboration across technology partners, vendors, and internal business unit.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design and governance for digital transformation initiatives within the organization.
• Define and develop end-to-end enterprise solution architectures across multiple platforms and systems.
• Design and oversee cloud architecture and implementation , including hybrid and multi-cloud environments .
• Ensure all technology solutions align with financial governance frameworks and regulatory requirements .
• Maintain strong adherence to Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) compliance standards in all architectural designs.
• Integrate cybersecurity controls and secure architecture principles across all technology solutions.
• Provide strategic technology guidance to leadership, including architectural recommendations and roadmaps.
• Collaborate with external partners, technology vendors, and system integrators to implement and optimize solutions.
• Support long-term enterprise architecture maturity , positioning the role as a progression path toward enterprise architecture leadership.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in solution architecture or enterprise architecture , preferably within the banking or financial services sector .
• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks and solution design methodologies .
• Experience designing and implementing cloud architectures , particularly hybrid or multi-cloud environments .
• Solid understanding of financial regulatory frameworks and governance standards , including CBK compliance requirements .
• Proven experience embedding cybersecurity principles into enterprise solution designs .
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and external partners .
• Ability to translate complex technical architecture into strategic business solutions .
