Job Title: Part-Time Sonography Technician
Location: Panvel
Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with certification can apply)
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Medical Imaging Technology / Sonography (DMIT / B.Sc. MIT / equivalent)
License/Certification: Valid certification in ultrasonography/sonography (as per state norms)

Job Summary

We are looking for a part-time Sonography Technician to perform ultrasound procedures and assist doctors in diagnosis. The technician will be responsible for delivering accurate imaging services while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ultrasound scans as per doctor’s prescription.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
• Capture and store clear diagnostic images for reporting.
• Explain procedures to patients and address their queries with empathy.
• Assist radiologists/consultants during specialized imaging procedures.
• Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation.
• Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols.
• Ensure the machine and imaging area are well-maintained and ready for use.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical knowledge of sonography/ultrasound procedures.
• Good patient-handling skills with compassion.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with hospital information systems is an added advantage.

Work Schedule

• Basis: Part-time (Flexible hours / Shift-based as per hospital requirement)
• Reporting To: Radiologist / Senior Doctor / Medical Superintendent

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
