Sonographer

Patient Care: Preparing patients for exams by explaining the procedure, ensuring comfort, and answering questions. Imaging Procedures: Operating, adjusting, and maintaining ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images (sonograms). Diagnostic Assessment: Analyzing images to distinguish between healthy and pathological tissues, determining if further images are needed, and providing a summary of findings to physicians. Specialized Areas: Performing specialized scans such as abdominal, obstetrical/gynecological, vascular, or echocardiography (cardiac). Procedural Support: Assisting physicians with ultrasound-guided biopsies or other invasive procedures. Documentation: Maintaining accurate patient records, imaging notes, and reports.
