Position Opening: Experienced High-Risk Obstetric Sonographer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled High-Risk OB/GYN Sonographer to enrich our team of esteemed doctors and sonographers. The ideal candidate will exhibit proficiency in conducting critical OB/MFM ultrasound examinations, including detailed fetal anatomy evaluations, nuchal translucency assessments, fetal growth assessments, and possess expertise or a keen interest in procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling. We are an academic private practice that has MFM fellows rotate throughout our office. Our practice is involved in clinical research and product evaluation. Key Responsibilities:

Technical Excellence: Conduct ultrasound examinations with precision and efficiency, ensuring technical accuracy and timely completion.
Diagnostic Accuracy: Skillfully identify anatomical structures and understand their clinical significance, ensuring accurate preliminary report generation.
Patient Identification and Safety: Maintain stringent standards for patient identification and image labeling, following best practices for patient care and safety.
Patient Care: Approach each examination with empathy and consideration, prioritizing the comfort and well-being of pregnant patients and their families, especially when navigating the stress of potential pregnancy complications.
Equipment Proficiency: Masterfully operate and adjust ultrasound equipment to optimize diagnostic imaging quality. Our machines are the GE Voluson e10.

Qualifications:

Certification Required: ARDMS certification in OB/GYN/NT, FETAL ECHO
Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience in a high-risk maternal-fetal medicine setting is required, demonstrating a track record of excellence and patient care.

Position Details:

Schedule: The position is full time, Monday thru Friday
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and skill level in sonography.
