Jon Title: S&OP Lead – Pakistan
Role Purpose
The S&OP Lead – Pakistan is a pivotal leadership role responsible for driving the end-to-end Sales and Operations Planning process across the country. Your primary mission is to ensure that "One Aligned Number" flows seamlessly across all commercial and supply chain systems. By balancing historical trends with quantified market insights, you will champion demand plan maturity, optimize stock availability, and minimize business waste, directly supporting the company’s medium-to-long-term growth ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
1. S&OP & Demand Planning Leadership
  • The "One Aligned Number": Lead the Pakistan S&OP process, ensuring a single, consensus-driven forecast is aligned across Commercial, Finance, and Supply Chain, complete with clear building blocks and quantified market assumptions.
  • Forecast Optimization: Develop high-quality, midpoint forecasts while continuously driving metrics to improve monthly and weekly Forecast Accuracy (FA) and Forecast Bias (FB).
  • Commercial Integration: Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to influence demand, optimize the product mix, eliminate volume-value disconnects, and build robust gap-closure action plans.
  • Digital Transformation: Elevate the maturity of the Demand Planning and S&OP process by introducing advanced analytics, statistical science, and digital tools.
2. Supply & Material Planning Support
  • End-to-End Planning: Support the comprehensive supply agenda, spanning production scheduling and material planning to fulfill both local and export demand within the manufacturing ecosystem.
  • SLA & Efficiency Management: Balance cash, cost, and service levels by optimizing inventory holdings, maximizing product availability, and aggressively reducing business waste and SLOBs (Slow-Moving and Obsolete Stock).
3. Network, 3PM, & 3PL Orchestration
  • External Partner Alignment: Manage and closely collaborate with the Finished Goods (FG) import network, Third-Party Manufacturers (3PM), and Third-Party Logistics (3PL) providers to seamlessly fulfill local demand and promotional execution.
  • Asset-Light Strategy: Support 3PM operations across multiple locations to maximize agility while reducing internal capital investments.
4. Long-Term Capacity & Growth Strategy
  • Capacity Planning: Provide critical data and analytical support for Rough-Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) to identify potential supply bottlenecks.
  • CAPEX & Expansion: Help orchestrate factory expansions and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) investments for the medium-to-long-term, ensuring the supply network can support future business scaling.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Forecast Accuracy (FA) & Forecast Bias (FB) improvements (Weekly/Monthly)
  • S&OP Process Maturity Index / Consensus Adherence
  • Customer Service Levels (OTIF - On-Time In-Full)
  • Inventory Days on Hand (DOH) and Working Capital Optimization
  • SLOBs and Business Waste reduction %
  • 3PM/3PL Performance Metrics
Experience & Education
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related quantitative field (Master's/MBA or APICS certification is a plus).
  • Experience: Proven experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or S&OP leadership roles, ideally within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or complex manufacturing environment.
Technical & Behavioral Skills
  • Analytical Power: Strong capability in statistical forecasting, data analytics, and navigating complex supply chain digital tools.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with a proven ability to challenge commercial assumptions and align cross-functional leadership around a single plan.
  • Operational Grounding: Direct experience dealing with manufacturing environments, material planning, and managing external vendors (3PM/3PL).
