Sourcing Manager

The Role:

As a member of our Sourcing and Production team you will be a key player in bringing new ideas and products to life! Some key job requirements include:

• Through multiple channels (internet search, key sourcing resources, trade shows, supplier network, etc.) source unique products for specific categories based on demand from our Design team, Sales team, Customer requests and Management meeting established deadlines.
• Maintain great relationships with your teammates and vendors, ensuring clear communication
• Working with our China office oversee key product data points including those associated with factory audits, quality, technical (manual and specifications), compliance, sustainability, materials, duty, tariffs and costs.
• Present new product opportunities to product selection team on a regular basis
• Ensure your products are set up properly in key documents like item set up sheet.
• Communicate clearly with the Sales and Design team on projects throughout all stages
• Negotiate prices with suppliers to meet company margin goal
• Organize samples

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, Adobe
• 5+ years experience in sourcing, knowledge of health, beauty, personal care, skin care, wet wipes, FDA OTC regulated products are preferred
• Extremely organized, ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with a strong attention to detail is a must
• Proactively consider each area impacted and ensure all are clear on status and visibility to all projects
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on team player, willing to jump in and help wherever needed
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Chinese speaking is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
