Sourcing Manager

Company Overview As a long-standing textile agency and buying house, we have spent two decades perfecting the art of sourcing. We handle a diverse portfolio of fibers, yarns, and fabrics, serving as a vital link in the global textile supply chain.

Role Summary The Sourcing Manager will be the architect of our supply chain. You will be responsible for managing international supplier relationships and developing cost-effective procurement strategies that empower our sales team to offer the best products at the best prices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain robust partnerships with suppliers across key global markets, including Central Asia (CAS), Turkey, China, and the Far East.
• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement "Source-from-Where" strategies, optimizing the balance between material quality, origin, and price points.
• Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with the Sales Department to provide real-time pricing, lead times, and technical feasibility for client inquiries.
• Supply Chain Oversight: Monitor global market trends to anticipate price fluctuations or logistical shifts.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of direct sourcing/procurement experience within the textile industry.
• Global Insight: Comprehensive understanding of both Pakistani and international textile markets and trade dynamics.
• Technical Expertise: Advanced knowledge of textile compositions, yarn counts, and fabric constructions across natural and synthetic categories.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Please note working hours are Monday to Friday 9:30 AM to 6 PM as well as 1st, 3rd and 5th Saturday of each month.

Pay: Rs120,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
