Position: Import Manager

Megaplus Pakistan, a leading IT company with 25 years of excellence, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as Import Manager at our Karachi office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee end-to-end import operations until the goods are delivered and received at the warehouse.
• Manage all Letter of Credit (LC) processes and coordinate with banks to ensure timely execution of international transactions.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and clearing agents to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely shipment handling.
• Ensure full compliance with import documentation requirements as well as State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) regulations.
• Monitor shipment schedules closely and proactively address and resolve any operational delays.
• Review and ensure accuracy of all import-related documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading (BL/AWB), HS codes, and related records.
• Supervise import team operations to ensure effective workflow management and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, statutory requirements, and internal/external audit standards at all times.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in import operations
• Strong expertise in LC handling, banking coordination, freight forwarding, and customs clearance
• In-depth knowledge of import documentation and regulatory compliance
• Proven ability to manage and supervise a team
• Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
