Job Overview:

We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive new business growth in the logistics and freight forwarding sector. The role focuses on identifying potential clients, building strong business relationships, and generating revenue through import/export logistics services (air, sea, and land freight).

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and develop new business opportunities in logistics and supply chain services

* Acquire new clients including importers, exporters, traders, and manufacturers

* Build and maintain strong long-term client relationships

* Promote company services and prepare commercial proposals and quotations

* Coordinate with pricing and operations teams to ensure competitive and feasible solutions

* Conduct market research to identify new trade lanes and business opportunities

* Achieve individual sales and revenue targets

* Maintain a strong sales pipeline and update CRM regularly

Requirements:

* Proven experience in Business Development or Sales (logistics/freight forwarding preferred)

* Strong understanding of import/export and international trade operations

* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

* Ability to work independently and meet targets

* Strong networking and client acquisition skills

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

* Number of new clients acquired

* Monthly/quarterly revenue generated

* Lead conversion rate

* Active pipeline value

* Client retention and repeat business

Pay: From Rs1.00 per month
