Sourcing Manager - Logistics & Co-Manufacturing

<font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Job Description <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Sourcing Manager – Knowledge Services (Logistics & External Manufacturing) <font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Identify and execute against strategic initiatives to build upon category advisor expertise

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Partner closely with key logistics stakeholder teams to understand critical business needs, trends and strategies

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Manage a team of junior sourcing professionals including category experts and analysts for the day-to-day coaching, training, and ongoing development

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Define and implement global sourcing and outsourcing strategies for Logistics and External Manufacturing that consolidate and optimize both the supplier base and services, while securing the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and access to the highest levels of service and quality

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Leadership role in key procurement activities, including RFx development and execution, Statement of Work (SOW) and contract drafting, and pricing and contract negotiations (new client initiatives).

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Ensuring team is managing master data management to the required quality standards.

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> If managing direct reports – ensure right resourcing and workload management along with mentorship and support. Greater participation/involvement in cross-functional visionary development and implementation.

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Greater responsibility of coaching leadership qualities into mentees and direct reports, building the future leaders of the organization.

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Participating in firm building activities, including recruitment, client visits and wider GEP Operations improvement activities.

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Responsible for setting the strategy for Logistics portfolio in close alignment with Supply Chain teams and executing the strategy.

<font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> You will be responsible for delivery of successful management of logistics and external manufacturing in Egypt and regional markets.

<font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Following procurement skills are added advantage: 

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Experience in FMCG industry
• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Logistics category strategy development
• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Price forecasting process for Logistics category

<font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Ideal Candidate Qualifications <font face="Times New Roman, serif">

• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Masters/ Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/Supply Chain management 
• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Experience in managing/sourcing Logistics (Transportation, Warehouse Services) and/or External Manufacturing partners
• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Strong inter-personal skills to excel in a culturally diverse environment and manage global internal stakeholders
• <font face="Times New Roman, serif"> Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, MS Power Point and Power BI (Desirable)
