Sourcing Specialist
Job Description
The Sourcing Specialist, reporting to the Corporate Indirect Sourcing Manager, will support the organization’s goal to optimize indirect spend. This role provides analytical and sourcing support across indirect categories, including professional services, IT, MRO, and equipment. Success in this position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate demonstrates initiative, ownership, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities

Data Analysis: Develop, maintain, and distribute reports. Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed. Manage and analyze data to support RFx planning and identify award scenarios resulting in optimal value and contribute to the organization making informed decisions.

Continuous Improvement: Recommend continuous improvements to boost performance and reduce costs.

Transform data insights into actionable items that support organizational goals and initiatives.

Provide project management and support for initiatives to implement best practices and innovative solutions to ensure the purchasing process is efficient and scalable.

Investigate inefficiencies and develop solutions to create value

Provide project management and support for Sourcing Team’s initiatives and goals

Purchase Order Management
-
Assist with supplier on-boarding process, supplier negotiations and RFX’s.

Create and maintain collaborative partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
-
2 - 4 years of sourcing and data analysis experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, or a related field
-
Skilled in data analytics including data mining and report generation. Ability to manage large sets of data
-
Experience with Advanced Excel functions, Tableau , Power BI and/or QuickSight
-
Familiarity with an ERP System (JDE preferred, Oracle, SAP, or similar)
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills including the ability to present to management and executives
Preferred Qualifications

Ability to recognize, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems

Ability to follow and create standard work processes

Extensive project management experience

Negotiation experience

Contract review and workflow experience is a plus. Experience with a Contract Lifecycle Management system

Strong communication and collaboration skills; Ability to work independently and confidently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational competences with skills including attention to detail, robust problem-solving and decision-making and will work with sense of urgency and be results focused.
