Position Title: Sr. Director, Indirect Procurement (Total Cost of Ownership)

Reports To: Vice President of Strategic Sourcing
Basic Function
This role is responsible for the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for all Indirect Procurement categories, leading high-impact initiatives that drive operational efficiency and deliver significant net structural savings. The position partners closely with internal business stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to enhance overall value delivery.
The Director will guide Category Managers through the full TDC/TCO sourcing methodology — from Plan to Strategy and Source to Contract — while negotiating complex supply agreements, capturing structural cost savings, and providing strategic leadership to the broader Strategic Sourcing organization.
Key Responsibilities

Category Strategy Development:
Lead the creation and execution of multi-year global category plans to reduce total delivered cost, mitigate headwinds, and enhance supply security. -
Contracting & Negotiation:
Develop and implement contracting strategies and negotiate key commercial terms across indirect categories (and select raw materials, packaging, and finished goods) to ensure Tarkett’s most competitive sourcing position. -
Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships that drive continuous improvement in performance, quality, productivity, and service levels. -
Strategic Sourcing Infrastructure:
Design and support the development of sourcing processes, tools, and analytics infrastructure to ensure supplier availability, quality, and cost competitiveness. -
Coaching & Capability Building:
Mentor and coach Category Managers on the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Sourcing methodologies to enhance team capabilities and maturity across the sourcing function. -
TCO Execution & Analysis:
Lead comprehensive sourcing efforts including spend analytics, market analysis, wave strategy development, and supplier negotiations to capture structural savings. -
Cross-Functional Leadership:
Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver maximum value through collaborative initiatives, aligning category strategies with business objectives. -
Reporting & Communication:
Communicate sourcing strategies, performance metrics, and results to senior management, translating market trends into actionable opportunities. -
Leadership & Talent Development:
Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and professional growth.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)

10+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement

Minimum 5 years of experience in Category Strategy Development and Strategic Sourcing

Proven leadership experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing teams
