Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Specialist with a strong background in the textile industry to manage and develop sourcing operations from China. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating costs, ensuring product quality, and coordinating with manufacturers to support timely and cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities

• Source textile products, raw materials, and finished goods from suppliers in China
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new textile manufacturers and vendors
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms with suppliers
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
• Coordinate product development, sampling, and production timelines
• Conduct factory audits and supplier evaluations (quality, capacity, compliance)
• Monitor production progress and resolve sourcing or production issues
• Ensure products meet company quality standards and buyer specifications
• Stay updated on textile market trends, materials, and sourcing opportunities in China
• Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, logistics, quality control)

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Sourcing Specialist or Procurement professional
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the textile or apparel industry
• Hands-on experience sourcing from China-based textile manufacturers
• Strong knowledge of textile materials, fabrics, trims, and production processes
• Excellent negotiation and cost-management skills
• Understanding of quality control standards and compliance requirements
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers and projects simultaneously

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Experience with factory audits and compliance certifications
• Familiarity with international trade terms (Incoterms), shipping, and logistics
• Mandarin language skills (preferred but not mandatory)
• Experience working with apparel brands, home textiles, or fabric mills
• Willingness to travel to China (if required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
