Become a Key Player as a Sourcing Specialist, Marketing

As a Sourcing Specialist, Marketing, you will lead sourcing projects that optimize spend across Adobe’s indirect categories while partnering closely with internal teams and suppliers. You will improve financial and operational performance, negotiate favorable commercial terms, and elevate supplier relationships. Work model: Remote; PST or MST time zones preferred. This is a contract role covering a leave of absence from 09/29/2025 through 01/05/2026.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team

• Collaborate with internal business customers and suppliers on the strategy and execution of sourcing projects.
• Partner with teams on strategic supplier performance initiatives to improve financial and operational outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior internal leaders.
• Lead cross-functional planning of sourcing strategies and supplier management programs aligned to business objectives.
• Proactively identify value, savings, and efficiency opportunities across category spend; negotiate and report appropriately.
• Define category standards and operating procedures, demonstrating category expertise and business sense.
• Develop, issue, and lead RFx activities; lead commercial negotiations to secure best value and cost savings.
• Collaborate with Legal on large/high-risk agreements to ensure favorable terms and risk mitigation.
• Report weekly progress; add agreements, service details, and payment forecasts into procurement systems on time.
• Drive continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Use and maintain procurement tools per Global Procurement standards and expectations.
• Process contracts in accordance with the Adobe Legal Playbook and policies.
• Apply supplier relationship management techniques, including supplier business reviews and spend analytics.

Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with fiscal planning cycles and ad hoc financial analysis.
• Sound understanding of procurement practices and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret contract specifications within the procurement process.
• Knowledge of purchasing systems and order management software.
• Familiarity with BI reporting and spend analysis.
• High attention to detail with sound judgment and decision-making.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; ability to present complex concepts and dense data clearly.
• Willingness to train and educate users on new processes, policies, procedures, or technologies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to achieve results without constant follow-up.
• Ability to reorder priorities on short notice and adapt to changing requirements; effective workload management and flexible scheduling as business needs vary.

Here’s What Else Might Help You Out

• 2–4 years’ experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Program Management in a sophisticated, global procurement environment.
• MBA or JD.
• Strategic Sourcing/Procurement-related industry certifications.

Pay Range

$39.44 - $49.30/hour
