NOTE: This role is hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Phoenix, AZ office.

The Senior Inclusion and Belonging Specialist drives the day-to-day operations of programs such as the Employee Resource Groups to ensure alignment with organizational inclusion goals. This role executes key initiatives, tracks progress, and partners across teams to build a more inclusive, engaged, and welcoming workplace. The Senior serves as a key partner and connector across the organization to amplify Team Member voices, foster community, and help embed inclusion into our culture and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES

  • Program Leadership:
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of I&B programs such as the Employee Resource Groups
    • Execute strategies to achieve annual and long-term program goals
    • Serve as the main point of contact and advisor to ERG leaders, supporting governance, engagement and alignment with charters and I&B strategy
    • Develop toolkits, training, content and communications to enable effective and sustainable I&B operations
    • Partner with internal stakeholders to plan and execute impactful events, awareness campaigns and learning opportunities
    • Manage the measurement of I&B programs to ensure progress toward annual and long-term goals
  • Organizational Effectiveness:
    • Maintain strong knowledge of I&B best practices and expertise to contribute to programs and strategies
    • Support continuous improvement by gathering feedback and benchmarking I&B best practices
    • Manage goals, metrics and processes in order to measure and achieve goals
    • Execute specific project management and day-to-day operations for programs to ensure they are successfully integrated organization-wide
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with internal communications, ERGs and other business partners to amplify program visibility and impact
    • Support storytelling efforts that highlight diverse voices and build cultural awareness across the organization
    • Provide monthly and quarterly progress and metric updates to the Director
    • Collaborate with Marketing, Public Relations and Internal Communications teams to deliver compelling stories and assets.

  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills with a proven track record of delivering work on time and on budget
  • Detail-oriented, with an ability to achieve flawless execution
  • Collaborative work style and ability to achieve results across disciplines and levels, internally and externally
  • Experience leading programs, strategies, and projects
  • Comfort managing multiple workstreams simultaneously, and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and drive results as an individual contributor
  • Demonstrate sound judgment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to create momentum and influence change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and professional speaking skills
  • Deep commitment to equity, inclusion and creating spaces of belonging in the workplace
  • Knowledge of accessibility, inclusive language, and identity-related topics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, and Google Suite

EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Minimum Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of experience in inclusion & belonging, project management, or related corporate/nonprofit/mission-driven roles supporting culture or inclusion initiatives,
    • Or a master’s degree plus 6 years of experience in inclusion & belonging, project management, or related corporate/nonprofit/mission-driven roles supporting culture or inclusion initiatives.
