Sourcing Specialist, Site Materials Americas

We are currently looking for a Sourcing Specialist Site Materials Americas to join us at our facility in Glen Mills or Philadephia, PA (Hybrid - 3 days in office).


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing Site Materials projects, and consolidating Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) suppliers
  • Collaborate closely with Business Units, Operations, Technology, and project managers to understand site materials project requirements, timeline and budget constraints
  • Close collaboration with internal stakeholders to determine current and future sourcing needs to make sure purchase(s) are made based on Funds approval
  • Negotiate and implement supply agreements to balance quality, service, risk and value.
  • Conduct quarterly review of the preferred supplier list with stakeholder
  • Identify YoY savings opportunities for the site materials categories
  • Identify cost-savings opportunities and implement strategies to optimize site materials spending while maintaining project quality and timeline
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, favorable payment terms
  • Coordinate with legal to review and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Ensure strict adherence to the company’s procurement process, policies and compliance requirements throughout all purchasing activities

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field
  • 2 or more years' experience in procurement or purchasing in an industrial company, preferably in an MRO focused role
  • Fluent spoken and written English. Additional language skills a plus, particularly Spanish
  • Proficient knowledge of the source-to-contract Procurement process
  • Experienced in Procurement e-sourcing-tools.
  • Proficiency in contract negotiation, vendor management, and communication skills
  • Partnering with senior-level leaders and stakeholders in a matrix organization
  • Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving capability
  • Self-motivated, service-oriented “Can do – Will do” mindset and attitude
  • Detail oriented with good organizational and time management skills
  • Analytics mindset with the ability to identify cost saving opportunities and drive process improvement
  • Ability to travel approx. 20%, including potential international travel
