Sourcing Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Sourcing Supervisor with 1-2 years of experience in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have an engineering background, hands-on field exposure, and a solid understanding of oilfield equipment and services. This role demands a self-motivated individual capable of managing vendor relationships, sourcing critical equipment, and supporting procurement operations across international locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers of oilfield equipment and services.

Support sourcing activities for drilling, completion, production, and maintenance needs.

Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures.

Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate with vendors to ensure best commercial terms.

Ensure compliance with technical specifications and QHSE requirements.

Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to understand field requirements.

Coordinate logistics and delivery timelines for international and remote operations.

Maintain accurate records of contracts, sourcing documents, and supplier evaluations.

Travel internationally to supplier sites, operational bases, and project locations as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, or equivalent preferred).

1-2 years of sourcing/procurement experience in the oil and gas industry.

Field experience in drilling, completions, or production operations is a strong asset.

Solid understanding of oilfield tools, equipment, and service categories (e.g., OCTG, valves, BOPs, wellheads, stimulation equipment).

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage.

Willingness to travel internationally and work in diverse environments.
